Waka Flocka Flame Says Getting Shot Made Him Better Person [VIDEO]

Waka Flocka Flame says that getting shot in the shoulder in 2010, just before the release of his breakthrough album Flockaveli, helped to make him a better person.

"It made me richer, sad to say. Made you popular, sad to say. It just made me as a man and as a person more wiser, clever, stronger, devious in situations," Waka said in an interview with R&R. "It just makes you a stone cold thinker. Honestly, it just really turned me up more."

Being wiser doesn't mean that Waka is above your typical rap beef. He recently released a diss track called "Ice Cream" that was clearly aimed at his former friend and business partner Gucci Mane. Though Waka has claimed repeatedly that there is no beef between the two artists, the intent behind his latest can't be denied.
