Ariana Grande was right at home on stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. The Yours Truly singer performed her latest single "Right There" as well as her smash hit "The Way" on the late night chat show yesterday (Oct. 15).

Before kicking off the concert, it wouldn't be a Grande performance is there wasn't a fan component to the performance. Her L.A. show began with a costume contest for fans, since it's so close to Halloween and Grande loves scary movies. Two fans, dressed as a clown and a cat, competed against a not-so-secretive Grande in a chicken costume. They break danced and sang a verse of "Right There," when it was obviously revealed that Grande was, in fact, the chicken.

From there, Grande took on "Right There" (sans Big Sean) and positively killed the vocals following a slight absence from American TV. From the opening whistle notes to her breathy performance in the verses, Grande once again proved why she's been labeled the next Mariah Carey.

The performance was highlighted by light choreography; Grande took the hand of one of her all-white wearing backup dancers and sat in a chair while wiggling around onstage.

Similarly, Grande then blasted through the first Yours Truly single, "The Way."

Grande recently recorded an epic music video for "Right There," as teased on her Twitter and Instagram. A release date and more details about the official visual have yet to be revealed, but it is known portions of the clip will take place in nature and that Grande rocks an ornate ball gown in the music video.
