Drake Tired Of People Calling Him Sad After 'Nothing Was The Same' Release

Drake's the type of dude that...will release an album full of simp jams and get slightly peeved when people call him sad (Drake's the type of dude who says "peeved.") Apparently, Aubrey isn't happy with all the sad rapper labels being applied to him post-Nothing Was The Same.

"There's a victorious sentiment behind it. The most important thing to understand about this record is the sentiment," Drake insisted about NWTS in a Radio Q interview. "I'm 26, working as hard as I possibly can with my friends that I grew up with, making my family happy."

Drake says that, while he writes emotional songs, he doesn't consider himself an emotional guy.

"I'm so sick of people saying that I'm lonely and emotional, and associating me with this longing for a woman, or...I hate that, man. It bothers me so much. I do make music that makes you feel something. But I'm actually not that guy in real life. I'm very happy."

Drake backpedaled a bit to showcase his hunger for success before underlining his point that he's pretty happy being a multimillionaire.

"I'm not content by any means, I mean, I want to keep working, but I'm a happy person. I'm very excited. My life is constantly exciting. It's not some sad, depressing story."
