X-Men Days of Future Past Trailer Releasing With Thor 2 The Dark World?
Could Thor wind up helping the X-Men get some publicity?
The British Board of Film Classification has officially posted that the trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past has been classified. The trailer is set to run for two minutes and 15 seconds and the film is set for release on July 18, 2014.
Now that the trailer is ready to go, it's possible that it could debut with the theatrical release of Thor: The Dark World on Nov. 8. Marvel owns the Thor movie rights and Fox owns the X-Men movie rights, but it seems logical that one superhero movie would act as a platform for the other. Even if the trailer does not debut with Thor 2, it should be online sooner rather than later.
The film is shaping up to be one of the best X-Men, if not one of the best superhero, films ever made. In fact, James McAvoy, who plays a young Professor Charles Xavier, made the claim in a recent interview with IGN:
"You've just finished the movie - how was the experience?
James McAvoy: There's an army of brilliant actors in that film. Bryan Singer is back at the helm. Potentially it's going to be the biggest, most epic X-Men they've ever had. I think it's the second biggest production Fox have ever embarked upon, behind Avatar. So they're definitely going for it."
The film also stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage and Sir Ian McKellen.
