TLC 'Meant to Be' Music Video Shows Old Footage, Time in Studio with Ne-Yo: WATCH 'Crazy Sexy Cool' Group's New Effort from '20' [VIDEO]
In the wake of their hit VH1 movie Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story, '90s R&B girl group TLC have released a nostalgic music video for their new single "Meant To Be."
The clip brings together the new era of TLC together with the old. In a classic music video trope, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas record the meaningful track in the studio, as producer/writer Ne-Yo looks on. To tie in with the biopic Crazy Sexy Cool, old footage from TLC's rising days (and baby days... aww!) is interspersed, showing the journey that the girl group has made over the last 20 years.
Footage featuring deceased member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes is particularly poignant, reminding fans of music's loss.

"Meant To Be" is the lead single from TLC's latest compilation album 20, a best-of record covering their entire career. The album, released earlier this month, includes such hits as "Waterfalls" and "Unpretty." "Meant To Be" is the lone new track on the record.
T-Boz and Chilli, the surviving members of TLC, are reportedly going to release a new album in 2014. It will be the group's first effort since the death of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in 2002.
