Kelly Clarkson isn't the only one getting into the holiday spirit this October. "Bleeding Love" crooner Leona Lewis has released her own Christmas single, "One More Sleep." The track hit the web today (Oct. 24), exactly two months before Santa makes his big worldly sleigh trek.

The bouncy track begins in typical Christmas pop song style, with jingle bells and a happy backing of guitars and quiet drums. "I've been up all night inside my bedroom / Sitting here with me he'll be real soon," Lewis sings in the opening verse.

In essence, the song is about waiting for a loved one to come home for Christmas. "Five more nights of sleeping on my own / Four more days until you're coming home / Three more dreams of you and mistletoe / Two more reasons why I love you so," she blasts in the song's fun, countdown chorus.

The classic tropes of Christmas, love and a poppy countdown completely work for this Christmas anthem. Around holidays, it's totally fine for a song to be full of standard thoughts and feelings, the holidays are all about tradition, after all.

Listen to Leona Lewis' new Christmas song "One More Sleep" below.

"One More Sleep" is the first single from Lewis' upcoming Christmas album Christmas, With Love. The record has yet to receive an American release date, but it's set to hit the UK on Dec. 2.
