Kelly Clarkson pregnant by Christmas? 'Wrapped in Red' singer wants babies as soon as possible with new husband Brandon Blackstock

In her new Christmas song "4 Carats," Wrapped in Red singer Kelly Clarkson says all she wants for the holidays is a big, shiny diamond. In real life, though, that is not the case... Clarkson wants a baby for Christmas! In an interview with Valentine in the Morning (via US Weekly), Clarkson admitted she hopes to be pregnant with her new husband Brandon Blackstock by the end of the year.

"I want babies, yep! I do. Everybody keeps saying, 'What do you want for Christmas?' And I'm like, 'I want to be pregnant,'" Clarkson told the morning talk show yesterday (Oct. 30).

As she's been busy with her career since winning the first season of American Idol in 2002, Clarkson admitted she was always too "selfish" and focused on her career to really consider having children. However, since dating talent manager Brandon Blackstock, who has two kids from a previous marriage (Savannah, 12, and Seth, 6), Clarkson is baby crazy for a brood of her own, even though she's head over heels about her stepkids.

"...Going to soccer games with Seth and doing homework with Savannah -- I just really love it, y'all. It's so cool. It sounds so cheesy, but it's such a bigger point to life," said Clarkson. "I really lucked out with the whole kid situation. They're amazing."

Clarkson eventually went on to add that her hubby is on board with having more children, admitting that he is "excited about all the practice!"

Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock got married earlier this month in a low key, secret ceremony in Tennessee. The couple began dating in February 2012, getting engaged in December of that year. They wed on Oct. 20.
