Justin Bieber, Drake, R. Kelly collaboration in the works for new Music Mondays single? 'Recovery' singer teases 'they're not ready' on Twitter [RUMORS]
Is the next Justin Bieber Music Mondays single a collaboration with Drake and R. Kelly? The answer is, well, maybe. In two mysterious tweets to the R&B greats, the "Recovery" singer teased "they aren't ready" to Drake and R. Kelly, making it seem like something is coming from the three artists.
"they aren't ready" Bieber tweeted to Drake and R. Kelly today (Oct. 30) within one minute of each other. Of course, the meaning behind the vague tweets remain a mystery, but with Bieber releasing new music on a weekly basis (even dropping two songs within three days of each other), a song featuring the three is not out of the question.
Bieber and Drake have collaborated before, on the smooth Believe track "Right Here." The two's relaxed vocals play well off each other in that track.
Though Bieber and R. Kelly have not worked together musically before, the two were spotted hanging out together earlier this year.
Bieber has yet to reveal details on his fifth Music Mondays single. Last week, a song title and single artwork didn't arrive until Thursday evening, so it could be another full day before it's confirmed whether or not the thing they're "not ready" for is a Drake, R. Kelly, Justin Bieber song. If that were to happen, it would certainly add to Bieber's always struggling musical credibility as well as gain him the respect (and ears) of R. Kelly and Drizzy fans.
So far, Bieber's Music Mondays offerings have contained some of his strongest musical material to date. Inspired by laidback R&B, "Heartbreaker," "All That Matters," "Hold Tight" and "Recovery" have begun to lay the foundation for a new, fully mature and realized Bieber.
