New Glee Character Appearing in Season 5 Episode 8 [SPOILERS]

Glee has dealt with the real-life tragic death of Cory Monteith, and thus the death of main character Finn, throughout Season 5. As a result, the future of the show is in turmoil. But a new face could soon bring some fresh air to the season.

The "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online reports that a new character named Cody will make his first appearance in the eighth episode of the season. The character will be handsome and in great shape, but apparently he could be kind of a jerk, as well. Read on to find out more:

Even though you definitely forgot the 'please' on that request, we guess we can help curb your cravings. Get ready for a fresh face to grace your TV screen! Cody will appear in episode eight and he's an older fella who is handsome, sexy, well-built... the list of good qualities goes on and on! However there is one huge drawback to this newbie: he's quite the manipulator. Cody will not sing or dance so let's start taking bets on where he will pop up. Do you think he sounds like a New Yorker or a Lima-er?"

The fact that Cody will not sing or dance is interesting because it seems to rule him out of much of the activity on the show. The above spoiler mentions that he is "older" but doesn't say much beyond that. Perhaps he could be a new teacher at McKinley High? Or maybe he is tied to Rachel and the others in New York? Fans will find out in a few short weeks.
