Bryce Dallas Howard confirms role in 'Jurassic World' and says she'll be 'chasing dinosaurs'
In a recent joint interview with USA Today, Bryce Dallas Howard, accompanied by her father, director Ron Howard, revealed that she would be "fighting dinosaurs" in the upcoming fourth installment of Jurassic Park. This new film, entitled Jurassic World, has had plenty of casting rumors pop up this year so having Bryce herself confirm her role is great news for this film and fans of the franchise.
When asked about her upcoming film project, Bryce Dallas Howard replied:
"They're relaunching the Jurassic Park franchise, so I'll be chasing dinosaurs. That's going to happen next year."
This new film could either be a reboot or a sequel, but as of now the news is very limited. Other actors rumored for Jurassic World roles include Josh Brolin (who can next be seen in Spike Lee's Oldboy remake) and Jason Schwartzman. These two actors have yet to confirm these rumors.
Meanwhile, Bryce talked about her life as the daughter of a big-name director, too.
"I feel so lucky. It's only been an amazing thing for me. For a lot of individuals, it's a mixed bag because they can be from a very public family and there's been public trials and tribulations. There's been none of that from my family," she said. "I don't want to screw that up. I've never had a sip of alcohol in my life. I don't want to do or say anything that's wrong. My parents never put pressure on us, and yet they were very good parents and set boundaries and stuck their guns and never took the easy route."
