Kanye West performs 'New Slaves' and 'Late' during surprise Odd Future Carnival appearance
Kanye West made several Odd Future fans lives at the group's Los Angeles-based Carnival earlier this week. The Yeezus rapper appeared as a surprise guest during Tyler, The Creator's set at Camp Flog Gnaw, performing "New Slaves" and "Late" to a hyped crowd.
Even Tyler seemed stunned to bring Yeezy out.
"Fuck it, I don't know what to do right now. So, uh, can I have a hug first?" the leader of OFWGKTA said, clearly flustered. Tyler and Wolf Gang compatriot Earl Sweatshirt provided back-up vocals as West performed "Late" , a Late Registration track that Kanye hasn't dusted off in six years. Old Kanye tracks keep coming back, I tell ya.
Other dispatches from the Kanye-verse: West entered a plea of not guilty to battery charges stemming from an incident with a photographer outside LAX, will appear on a David Blaine magic special and wants to have fighter jets at his wedding.
His life is dope and..you know the rest.
