Ciara talks Future wedding plans: 'Body Party' singer reveals dress ideas, ceremony numbers and length of engagement in new interview
Ciara and rapper Future may have just gotten engaged at the end of October, but the "Body Party" singer is already in full-on planning mode. Last week, she spoke to People about her wedding plans, how long her engagement will be and whether or not she'll be a bridezilla.
Ciara teased that she's expecting her engagement to Future to be a short one, as the two lovebirds just can't wait to tie the knot, but that doesn't mean the ceremony isn't going to be elaborate and "perfect," and thus, she's not scared to be a bit of diva when it comes to planning.
"I think I'll be part bridezilla, I'm not going to lie. But I want to be a happy one!" she said. "I still want it to be a fun process, but I want the dress to be perfect, I want the cake to be perfect, I want the food to be perfect."
Additionally, the short engagement doesn't mean there will be a lack of elaborate and big things. Ciara also revealed she and her hubby-to-be will celebrate their new life together in a two-part ceremony, partially because of their spread out family and friends group. "We're both from Atlanta and we have so many family and friends, it's going to be hard to get everybody in one place, so we're going to do a celebration part and a wedding," she revealed.
Sounds like she's got a lot on her plate. But, like any bride Ciara is thinking about her dress. As is her signature style, she's looking for something form-fitting, but she also is looking for a traditional twist. "I want to go a little vintage, a little throwback classic almost like my mom was walking down the aisle," she revealed.
