Thai Officials Criticize Lady Gaga’s Show

Thailand Cultural Ministry complained about Lady Gaga's misuse of the nation's flag during a Bangkok concert last month.

Gaga sported a traditional Thai headdress and a bikini while sitting on a motorcycle with the Thai flag tied on it. The ministry said that it was "not appropriate and hurt the feelings of the Thai people."

"We are not asking police to prosecute her but it's our normal procedure to file complaints to concerned agencies when we receive them," Somchai Seanglai, the ministry's Permanent Secretary said.

This isn't the first time that Gaga's world tour raised objections. Her Indonesian concert was recently canceled after receiving death threats from Muslim hardliners.
