Taylor Swift covers Eminem's 'Lose Yourself'

Apparently Eminem isn't the only one stuck in 2002. Taylor Swift recently covered his Oscar-winning 8 Mile track during an interview with Pittsburgh's Froggy Radio.

The track itself was definitely a better idea on paper than in execution. That is a shame because Swift has proven herself to be a master of the cover song, frequently bringing out artists whose songs she likes while on tour and performing the track with them.

Swift lacks the bite of Eminem's vocal delivery and the whole track just kind of meanders along because of it. I figured Swift would have got the hard-edged flow down after bringing out J. Lo for "Jenny From The Block", but I guess she let herself get rusty.

Watch TSwift get all "palms spaghetti, knees weak mom's spaghetti" below:

Taylor Swift is currently working on a new album and says fans can expect it to be majorly different from the country-pop she has released for years.

"I'll bring in ideas and they'll take such a different turn than where I thought they were going to go, and that level of unexpected spontaneity is something that really thrills me in the process of making music," she said. "What if we did this? What if we made it weirder? What if we took it darker? I love people who have endless strange and exciting ideas about where music can go."

Katy Perry said the same thing and that turned into a trap song. Taylor's already covering rap songs, do you think we should expect a Juicy J/ TSwift collab sometime soon? Also, what did you guys think of her cover of "Lose Yourself"?
