Against Me release 'F**KMYLIFE666,' first track from 'Transgender Dysphoria Blues'
It's here, y'all. The first studio track from Against Me! in three years and the first since lead singer Laura Jane Grace began living life as a woman. "Fuckmylife666" is a rollicking track that toes the line between punk and country (a sound anyone whose followed the Florida band is well aware of) and gives a firsthand account of Laura's transition.
For the most part, the track sounds like a fist-pumping, exuberant victory lap with Laura detailing stories of collagen lips and silicon chests. However, there is an insight into some of the hatred that the artist born Tom Gabel went through. "Is your mother proud of your eyelashes?" she asks at one point.
But the track surges ahead as Grace lets everyone know that she is finally happy, a far cry from the tracks released while living as a man like "Sink, Florida, Sink."

Grace first debuted the track acosutically on the True Trans EP but the studio version will appear on Transgender Dysphoria Blues, the first album from Against Me! since 2010's White Crosses.
