The Hunger Games: Catching Fire does not hit theaters for a few more days (Nov. 22, to be specific), but early reviews are overwhelmingly positive. We've also got a new clip from the movie that shows a much more lethal Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence).

Some early reviews for Catching Fire have also come in and they are overwhelmingly positive to the point where many say it has surpassed the original 2012 movie in every way. Todd Gilchrist of The Playlist writes the following in comparing the movie to a certain other famous movie sequel:

"But as the Empire Strikes Back of young adult adaptations, Catching Fire is a monumental achievement, a massively entertaining crowd-pleaser that is thought-provoking and personally inspiring in all of the ways that it aspires to be."

As of this writing, the film holds a 95 percent rating on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes. You can also check out some more reviews at that link.
