Justin Bieber releases 'Believe' trailer: controversial year including Selena Gomez break up, paparazzi run-in will be addressed in new movie [WATCH]
Justin Bieber has been teasing the release of his new concert documentary Believe for weeks now. Along with his Music Mondays campaign, Bieber has been running Film Fridays, wherein he's showed off little clips from the movie when his songs perform well on the iTunes charts. But, Film Fridays have nothing on today (Nov. 15). Bieber has finally released the first full-length trailer for Believe and this movie is going to be a doozy.
Half concert film, half insider documentary, the trailer for Believe mixes together footage of Bieber's rocky 2012 and 2013, in-depth interviews and concert footage.
"When you reach a certain point in your life, there are people waiting out there to see you fall. But rather than let gravity take you down, sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands and fly," he says in the dramatic opening to the trailer, which perfectly integrates with a flying stunt he performs on tour.
The trailer then shows footage of fans going crazy for Bieber, his team addressing that he could be "the next big trainwreck" and even shows Bieber crying during an interview.
Most fascinatingly, Believe isn't backing away from Bieber's scandalous life. One incident, wherein he had to be held back from attacking a paparazzo is going to be addressed head-on in the movie. It also seems as though Bieber will go in depth about his heartbreaking break up with Stars Dance songstress Selena Gomez.
Of course, there will be some lighthearted moments, too. Believe can't all be clearing up rumors. Bieber shows off his little mustache and his mom insists he pulls his pants up.
Justin Bieber's Believe concert film will be released on Christmas Day. Watch the full trailer below.
