The third season of HBO's hit series Girls is definitely one of the most anticipated returning shows in the near future. After losing cast member Chris Abbott abruptly between seasons, fans are excited to see how Lena Dunham and the rest of her Girls crew have handled that and the previous issues from the show itself. This week, HBO has treated us to the first trailer for Girls season 3!

In this first preview for the upcoming 2014 season, viewers are reintroduced to Hannah's life living in the big city and just trying to get through everyday life with her friends. Basically, if you like Girls you'll enjoy watching this brand new preview for the upcoming season.

We can expect lots of drama, jokes and hookups just as we have before, but isn't that what we all want from the show?

Abbott's departure from the show was covered in the media earlier this year.

"They've just started work on Season 3, and Chris is at odds with Lena," a source said at the time. "He didn't like the direction things are going in, which seems a bit odd since the show put him on the map."

Abbott's rep confirmed his departure from the show:

"[Chris] is grateful for the experience of collaborating with Lena, Judd [Apatow], and the entire 'Girls' cast and crew, but right now he's working on numerous other projects and has decided not to return to the show."
