Lady Gaga to star in 2014 Versace ads

It's been a great year for Versace. The luxury brand hasn't received this much pop culture lip service since Elizabeth Berkely headed to Vegas with dreams of Strip stardom in her eyes (yes, that's a Showgirls reference and I'm fully aware what year it is, thankyouverymuch).

With Migos crafting the beat-of-the-year around spitting the name to point of semantic satiation and Lady Gaga naming a song after Donnatella, it was only a matter of time before the fashion VP tried to capitalize on her clout. The fashionista has announced that Lady Gaga will star in the clothing line's spring ads in a "girl on the street" look (something we haven't seen from Mother Monster since she killed and buried Stefani Germanotta).

According to Lady Versace, the ads will begin appearing in magazines in January 2014 and will showcase Gaga's "true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring."  

We at Mstars wonder if the ads will be anywhere near as decadent as the Donatella-lookalike featuring Migos clip?
