Kid Cudi reveals title of upcoming EP via Twitter

Kid Cudi made an exciting announcement for fans today via Twitter. The rapper took to the social media site to announce the title of his forthcoming EP.

The EP will be called Kid Cudi presents SATELLITE FLIGHT: The Journey to Mother Moon.

Cudi announced back in October that he would be recording a Man On The Moon 3 album as well as a prelude EP to arrive prior to the album.

No release date has been given but Man On The Moon 3 is slated to be released in 2015.

Kid Cudi is currently on his "Cud Life" tour.

Cudi has also embarked on some new business ventures. He recently received some prominent camera time in a new Need for Speed movie trailer. The film will star Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Rami Malek, Imogen Poots and Michael Keaton.

But aside from his acting gig, Cudi seems excited about his new music projects.

According to Music Connection, he had this to say:

"You'll see it coming from a person who is looking at things from a more mature mindset, with more understanding and growth. I want people to be able to put this album on at different points in their lives and grow with me."

This will be his first release since his split with G.O.O.D Music. Cudi broke the news to fans back in April but revealed that he and Kanye West ended things on good terms. Who knows, Kanye may be featured on this upcoming album.
