TV chef Nigella Lawson has had quite a bit of drama in her life. Not what you would expect from her calm, put together television persona. First the divorce from millionaire art dealer Charles Saatchi after ten years of marriage following a photo released at a restaurant of Saatchi with his hands around her throat. Now it has come out in court proceedings that Lawson allegedly used cocaine every day for ten years and abused prescription pills, without her husband knowing.

And there's more. Saatchi is taking the two sisters, Francesca and Elisabetta Grillo, who assisted Lawson to court claiming £300,000 on luxuries including designer clothes and first-class air travel. The sisters are apparently claiming that Lawson said they could spend what they wanted as long as they didn't tell Saatchi about her drug use.

Daily Mail reports that today at Isleworth Crown Court in west London Judge Robin Johnson read out an email sent from Saatchi to his former wife accusing her and their daughter Mimi, 19, of doing drugs. It said: 'Of course now the Grillos will get off on the basis that you (and) Mimi were so off your heads on drugs that you allowed the sisters to spend whatever they liked and yes I believe every word they have said.'

Court proceedings have become messy as Saatchi's company's accountants will be going through all of the expenditures, and then it becomes a difficult he said/she said situation. The Grillo sisters have been working for Lawson since 2001 when she was married to journalist John Diamond. They clearly have a close relationship, but when it being required that they keep their mouths shut about the alleged drug use and now Lawson denying that she consented to their spending, things are bound to get even messier.
