The Best Man Holiday actor Taye Diggs has been in the limelight this week not for his successful role as the great writer, "Harper" but as a victim of the Twitter world. News and rumors swirled, that Diggs took to his twitter account slandering black women. The actor hearing the news, has now set the record straight on his Twitter account.

According to tlcnaptown.com, the actor made some pretty harsh statements about the sistas. He allegedly said, "I'm just saying the last black woman I was with name Stella...Let's just say its not a stereotype that black women are less submissive and harder to deal with. Being around all them black women made me really miss my wife."

Also another view of the tweet from theurbandaily.com, showed photo collage of Taye Diggs, Harold Perrineau, and Terrence Howard posing with their white wives with the caption, "Black women be like: 'I want a man just like one of the guys in Best Man Holiday." At the bottom of the meme, it says, "it's only a movie baby girl..." Along with that meme was another that solely featured Diggs and his wife Idina Menzell. On top of the photo, there's a false quote attributed to Diggs.

The Best Man Holiday actor quickly took to Twitter to put the speculation that he would say something like that to rest. He tweeted,

So, with that being said, and set straight, Taye Diggs has dated black women before he met his wife, and he has never been heard saying anything negative about black women. The urbandaily.com as also made mention of Diggs asking that black people not attack his wife because of her skin color.
