Brian Griffin passed away on the shocking Nov. 24 episode of "Family Guy" - and several fans are NOT happy about it. Seth MacFarlane and Fox Network have received such negative feedback, that show creators are even considering a Brian Griffin comedy spin-off series! (Allegedly).

An insider tells Hollywood Life, "They didn't anticipate this much negative outcry over the death of Brian... And they didn't initially have thoughts of doing a spin-off show, but now, those discussions have started ever so slightly. It's nowhere [near] a lock, but a discussion has [happened]."

Who knows if this is actually true, though. A mysterioys website counting down the days to Brian's secret "special announcement" on Dec. 6 turned-out to be a hoax.

But Fox could potentially profit from a new series starring the beloved "Family Guy" pooch considering he was such a popular character. How many Mstars readers would tune-in?

The television broadcasting company and show creators have yet to comment... but how many fans miss this face and wouldn't want to see it again in a new animated series?

Stay tuned as more details develop...
