'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' will soon offer more Centipede information
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. introduced the mysterious and nefarious organization known as Centipede in the pilot of this first season and then brought the group back for another episode that focused on a man with fire powers. Since then, the show has not really mentioned Centipede, but apparently, that will soon change.
Series executive producer Jed Whedon told the "Mega Buzz" column at TV Guide that Centipede will be back and we will learn what happened to Raina, the woman in the flowered dress who paid a visit to someone in jail in her last appearance.
"Will Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. offer up more info on Centipede? - Dylan
It won't be long before we find out what happened to Raina - aka the girl in the flowered dress - who has ties to the mysterious organization Centipede. That should mean we'll finally get the details on her head-scratching visit to prison, where she was told to contact Clairvoyant. 'They will be making another appearance soon,' executive producer Jed Whedon says of Centipede. 'We're going to see some old faces and get some more Centipede action going.'"
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would benefit from some more of these season-long threads to tie the individual episodes together. Much of the show so far has focused on the characters' pasts (Skye's mother mystery, Ward's horrible childhood, Coulson's resurrection and "trip to Tahiti") and specific missions, so a more cohesive plot would help the show develop some momentum as it heads into the second half of its first season.
