The Shield debuted in the WWE a little more than a year ago and have had one of the greatest freshman years in the company in recent memory. Fans began to buzz about which of the three members would break out to become a top star in the company, and it seems as though Roman Reigns is starting to climb the ladder a bit. He eliminated four men in his tag match at Survivor Series and was the sole survivor, and fans have started to warm up to him.

Reigns himself commented on his push when a fan remarked about it on Twitter. "Wow, @WWERomanReigns is gonna be THAT dude," the fan wrote. Reigns responded with, "Somebody has 2, why not me. You can wait or it, or you can take it! #TakeIt."

Big Show Taking Time Off?

WWE.com has posted an article that says The Big Show has not been medically cleared to compete after he suffered numerous blows to the head at Survivor Series and on Monday Night Raw. As usual, take everything written on WWE.com with a massive grain of salt. The entire thing is almost assuredly a work and is likely just a way for the company to keep the giant off of television for a little while.

Backstage Update on Randy Orton vs. John Cena at TLC

Triple H announced on this week's edition of Monday Night Raw that WWE Champion Randy Orton and World Heavyweight Champion John Cena would face off in a TLC match at the pay-per-view of the same name with both belts on the line. Wrestlezone.com reports that if the match is not turned into an official title unification match, then the company might build to a larger story that could culminate with a unification match at WrestleMania 30.
