Kanye West explains his deal with Adidas and why he left Nike

It's fair to say that it looks like it's the end of the line for Air Yeezys. Kanye West is moving forward with his Adidas deal and he's already getting way more pull with this one.

According to the New York Post's Page Six, the deal was worth $10 million and West will receive royalties for each pair that sells.

Although West designed a slew of sneakers for Nike, West was very unhappy with the deal especially once he found out some of the tactics the brand was using to sell his shoes.

His latest Nike shoe, The Air Yeezy 2 Red Octobers, were reportedly being leveraged with other Nike shoe sales. Yeezus ranted about his findings during a recent performance at the Barclays Center. West went on to say this:

"...I talked to my man down in Miami that runs the store and they said Nike was pressuring them saying if you want the Red Octobers you have to take all these trash-ass shoes. Nike was pressuring them trying to leverage off some s*** that I made."

In addition, it is also believed that West "only got 10 to 20 cents on the dollar for sales of his sneakers from Nike, and he only had a small personal stash to give out to his friends.

West complained he didn't get decent royalties from Nike because he's "not a professional athlete."

There is no word on when the Air Yeezy 2 Red Octobers will drop, or if they ever will.
