Jack Osbourne, Son of Rocker Ozzy Osbourne, Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis
New father Jack Osbourne has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
The former reality star and son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne shared about his health issue in an interview with People magazine released Sunday (June 17). Just two weeks after his daughter was born, Osbourne, 26 received the news of his diagnosis.
"I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, 'Why now?', Osbourne said. "I've got a family and that's what's supposed to be the most important thing."
"While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry. Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realized: 'Being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point-if anything it's only going to make it worse," Osbourned said to Hello! magazine. "Adapt and overcome' is my new motto."
Multiple sclerosis affects the brain and spinal cord and can cause mild problems with muscle control and strength, vision, balance, feeling, and thinking or serious disability, such as paralysis.
"Please support my brother @mrjacko in not only his bravery but honesty!" his sister, Kelly Osbourne tweeted. "I love you so much jack & I'm so proud of you!"
