Supernatural 'Holy Terror' preview clip shows Sam struggling with missing time
Supernatural returns Tuesday night with its Season 9 midseason finale entitled "Holy Terror." The episode will feature most of the major players on the show and is likely to end with a big cliffhanger before the show returns in January. The CW has released a preview clip for the episode that offers a brief glimpse into what fans can expect tonight.
The clip begins with Dean and Sam in the Impala and Sam is confused when he sees a sign that says Fort Collins is 50 miles away even though about 12 seconds ago he saw a sign that said it was 100 miles away. Dean tries to play it off by saying that Sam might still be feeling the effects from the goddess Vesta's attack (which occurred on last week's episode) but Sam says this has been happening a lot and that chunks of time are just missing, like there are times when he's just not here.
Dean again tries to use the trials as an excuse, but Sam doesn't seem to be buying it. Dean says that Sam is still not up to speed because of the trials and asks "Would I lie?" Oh, the irony.

Here is the official episode description for tonight's show:
"AN ANGEL WAR BEGINS - After a massive angel slaughter occurs, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) arrive at the scene to investigate and are surprised to run into Castiel (Misha Collins). While investigating, Castiel is captured and tortured. Meanwhile, Dean questions Ezekiel's demands and wonders if it might be time to tell Sam the truth."
