How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Slap Bet Spoilers

Marshall (Jason Segel) has two more slaps remaining to use on Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) in Season 9 of How I Met Your Mother and he will use them both before the series concludes in May. The site SlapBetCountdown.com will hit zeroes on Jan. 13 when the show airs an episode entitled "Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra." And the episode will have an extremely weird element.

The "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine reveals the following information from Segel himself:

"Question: Any scoop on the conclusion of How I Met Your Mother's slap-bet saga? -Troy

The penultimate slap will rain down on Barney's face in 'Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra' (airing in early 2014), and Jason Segel offered up this cryptic tease: 'I'll just say two words, and you can take them any way you want: Hillary. Clinton.' Thoughts, theories, role playing?!"

I think...maybe he's talking about...Nope, I got nothing.

There's no word yet on when Marshall will use the second slap he has left, but maybe he'll use them both in this one episode, or maybe he'll dole it out as a surprise in a later episode (possibly the series finale). Series creators and co-executive producers Carter Bays and Craig Thomas had previously revealed that the upcoming episode would take place entirely during a super slow-motion slap, so perhaps the second slap will come later in Season 9.

How I Met Your Mother also stars Josh Radnor, Cobie Smulders and Alyson Hannigan and airs Mondays at 8 p.m. Eastern on CBS.
