It's finally that time, hyper-obsessive Lana-ites. The short film Tropico, which Rey has been hyping for months, is out. Feast your eyeballs on the short film below:

Tropico casts Rey in the role of the biblical Eve and follows her as she struggles against the pull of sin. The Andy Mandler-directed clip features three songs from Rey's Paradise EP: "Body Electric", "Gods And Monsters" and "Bel Air."

Del Rey premeired the clip at the ArcLight Hollywood and used the special occasion to reveal the title of her long-awaited new album. Lana's latest will be called Ultraviolence, presumably a nod to Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange.

Watch Lana announce the new album below:

Tropico will be available for download as part of the Tropico EP, featuring the aformentioned tracks.

In other Lana news, she has been named an executive producer (along with Mac Miller) of a new short documentary covering the world of troubled singer-songwriter Daniel Johnston.

What do you think of Tropico? Are you excited at the prospect of a new album from Lana?
