Season 7 of True Blood will be the show's last and HBO will air the final 10 episodes in Summer 2014. The cast and crew will very soon start preparing for filming the final season, and now fans have some new information about the actual content of the season premiere.

The "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online reports that the Season 7 premiere will feature multiple flashbacks:

"Connor: Any scoop on what we can expect from the True Blood premiere? Cannot believe it's really ending!
The premiere episode, which is titled 'Jesus Gonna Be Here,' will feature a super-adorable flashback to Sookie and Tara when they were just 10. (We're already preparing to feel all warm and fuzzy.) Plus, we'll also get a Bill-centric flashback as we'll get to see more of his family in 1862, including his young daughter Sarah and wife Caroline."

So it looks like True Blood wants to remind us where it came from before it takes us to wherever it's going before the series ends.

Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton on the show, will direct the final season premiere. He told TVLine that he begins preparing for the episode on Monday. He was asked about the idea that Bill and Sookie (Anna Paquin) could be the endgame for the show, and he responded that he does not know because of everything that has gone down between them. He added that Bill may have already fulfilled his role in Sookie's life by opening up a window into the world of vampires, sex and more.

Finally, he said it would be "really hard" for Bill to not be a jerk in the final season of the show.
