I'm just going to come right out and say this because no jokes could possibly one-up the absurdity of this fact: Macaulay Culkin has started a pizza-themed Velvet Underground covers band called The Pizza Underground.

Culkin's project has already performed at the anti-folk open night of New York's Sidewalk Cafe (using an old pizza box as percussion) and have released a demo on Bandcamp.

Track titles include "I'm Beginning to Eat The Slice", "I'm Waiting For The Delivery Man" and "All The Pizza Parties." The band also honored the late Lou Reed with "Pizza Day" and "Take A Bite Of The Wild Slice."

Culkin performs vocals, kazoo and the aforementioned pizza box percussion. The demo was recorded in Culkin's house on November 11.

Let it never be forgotten that the man who is currently in a VU cover band themed around every college student's favorite cheap dinner dated Mila Kunis for several years.

(Also, how did you guys miss "White Light, White Pizza"? Seriously.
