Amy Adams comments on Wonder Woman in 'Batman vs. Superman,' plus no Batman villains in movie?
News broke last week that Gal Gadot would play Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman, which all but confirmed that the Man of Steel franchise will turn into a Justice League universe. Amy Adams, who played Lois Lane in the first movie and will reprise her role in the sequel, recently offered her thoughts on the character's appearance in the movie.
During a press conference for American Hustle on Saturday morning, a reporter asked Adams if she would be interested in seeing a love triangle between Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman and Lois Lane:
"Am I interested? I don't know. I mean, we'll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we're not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries."
She later added, "Wouldn't it be nice if women weren't always just, like, cat-fighting and stuff?"
Superhero Hype has a video clip of the interview here.
In other Batman vs. Superman news, the site Batman on Film reported on its Facebook page (link via Batman-News.com) that the film would have two villains and both would come from the Superman universe. There's no indication at the moment that a Batman villain will be present in the movie.
Lex Luthor has been rumored as a villain for the film and some names that have been rumored for the role include Denzel Washington and Idris Elba. The villain Metallo has also been mentioned, though nothing has been confirmed.
