Lady Gaga and Britney Spears may go to work on a duet

Not content with their own mediocre 2013 efforts, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga might be cooking up a dud duet together.

The idea was first floated during a fan Q&A when a Spears die-hard asked if the Britney Jean singer would consider a collab with Mother Monster. Spears responded, "I think that would be a lot of fun. I think she's very different and interesting and intricate." 

Apparently, the quote made it's way into Gaga's Scandinavian ice fortress because the ARTPOP diva tweeted at Spears.

While it appears that the public is largely tired of Britney's character-devoid EDM and Gaga's laughable theatrics, maybe when they form like Voltron (with Max Martin or Dr. Luke or someone like that as the head), they can put out a passable pop track in the vein of Circus or The Fame.
