This might be the best Ron Burgundy promotion yet, thought he's not exactly recieving praise. This new Funny or Die video illustrates quite explicitly how other newsman in the industry, specifically Wolf Blitzer, Chris Cuomo and Anderson Cooper, view the anchorman and how their careers were really framed around his influence in the news world.

"On-camera, he's the best. But off-camera, he's a bit of an a--hole," says Cuomo, host of the CNN morning show New Day. "A major prick."

They claim that Burgundy, the star of upcoming Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, has been somewhat of a nemesis over the years. He's stolen awards that were rightly Blitzer's. Not won them undeservingly, he literally stole them off of his shelf and put his own name on them. He's made hurtful nicknames for them. He's been a bully, but a clever one.

He played a prank on Cuomo leading him to believe he was an inside source like Deep Throat, who helped Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein break the Watergate scandal. Cuomo also describes what it was like when he first started out as an intern for Burgundy. The anchorman apparently didn't trust the drycleaners, so it was Cuomo's job to personally launder his suits.

Burgundy allegedly created breaking news so that he could cover it, like the time he gave Mike Tyson an unconventional pep talk, encouraging him to bite Evander Holyfield's ear.

He'll do whatever it takes to be the reigning anchorman in the news industry, and it's all been at the expense of Blitzer, Cuomo and Cooper. Watch the video below.
