Godzilla is making its way back into theaters in May of 2014 and this week we got our first look at the rebooted film. Despite some bad remake problems in the past, this new take on the classic movie monster looks much more serious and incredibly devastating. The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn, Bryan Cranston and more as this new take on Godzilla rips through the past attempts of remakes.

The film's official synopsis boasts: An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Though most teaser trailers are usually under a minute, this trailer runs at a normal length but teases the monster throughout. We do get to see the smoke covered outline of the beast, but we aren't treated to a full reveal just yet.

This film also includes some interesting action sequences as we can see from the trailer. Skydiving soldiers landing on the monster is just the start of our first look at the film but the towering beast is the main attraction here. Plus this incredible cast of seasoned and up-and-coming stars is enough to grab at least some attention from fans.
