Demi Lovato turned heads at the X-Factor auditions in San Francisco. She sported a new do - pink hair tips! Pink seems to be trending now with the recent sightings of January Jones and Nicole Richie sporting partially pink hair.

The young singer gushed with excitement that her new do has been approved by none other than Simon Cowell.

“Yay!! Simon approves of my pink hair!! #SFactor,” Lovato tweeted. She also attached a photo of her, Britney Spears and Cowell at the auditions.

Lovato has recently hit headlines with the rumor that she may be dating One Direction's Niall Horan. The two have openly confessed their positive thoughts about each other, but have not officially admitted to any relationship yet.
