Karrueche Tran Helps Chris Brown's relationship with mom in rehab: Joyce Hawkins and Chris mending mother-son relationship during rehab

Chris Brown is trying to fix his relationship with his mother, Joyce Hawkins while in rehab for his anger management issues. The 24-year-old was kicked out of a Malibu rehab facility after he got angry with his mother when she denied him an early release, and later threw a rock through her car window.

According to Hollywoodlife, sources say that Brown and his mother continuously have rough patches, but he wants to reconcile, "He and his mom go back and forth,"  the source adds, "One day they're cool, the next minute they're not. He knows Mama J wants nothing but the best for him but sometimes he doesn't see it that way."

The source told the site, "Mentally, he's still a kid and his mother knows that," the source says. "Look at all the coins he drops on toys, shoes, video games, cars and all that shit. There's nothing wrong with that but that's some kid sh*t.

The source added that Brown is sometimes stubborn when his mother tries to get him back on track, "So when his mom tries to talk to him seriously and put him up on some real sh*t about life, he doesn't hear it half the time."

Although, his volatile behavior towards his mother landed him back in rehab for 90-days, Brown plans to start a clean slate with her and on-and-off again girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

Brown's source revealed that he is in a new stage in his life and plans on staying away from negative people and ignoring them instead of lashing out, "He's at the 'I don't give a f**k' stage at this point," the source says. "He doesn't care what anyone thinks about him being in rehab. He's learning how to trust and believe in himself and not caring about what others think."

The "Love More" singer is planning to start all over in 2014 with Karrueche Tran after a troubled year with legal problems, jail time, and a very public love triangle, the singer plans on taking his relationship with Tran more seriously and turn a new leaf.

According to HollywoodLife.com Brown plans on changing his life, moving to Malibu after his 90-day rehab stint for his anger management issues. Sources close to the singer tells the site,  "He has a game plan when he gets out," the source added, "It's to be loyal and true to Karrueche, get out of Hollywood, get the album out and take Kae on a long vacation."

As far as his relationship with his mother, the source adds, "She's always going to be his moms," the source says. "They're working on their relationship and everything will fall into place."
