Busta Rhymes,Q-Tip drop collaborative mixtape 'The Abstract & The Dragon' [Stream]
If this isn't the best music news you've heard all week, then I'm not sure we can be friends. Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip have decided the want to party like it's 1993, releasing a new collaborative album called The Abstract And The Dragon.
On top of Q-Tip and Busta, there are guest spots from Lil' Wayne, Kanye West, Redman, and Raekwon (as well as remixes and re-releases of tracks by Big Daddy Kane, Talib Kweli, Missy Elliott, Leaders Of The New School)...annnnd I'm crying. This is soooooo good, y'all.
Check it out below:
Busta has been showcasing the fact that he's still the best on any song for a few years now and Raekwon has been releasing some solo material along with the rest of the reunited Wu-Tang Clan, but to have a compilation that combines it all and reminds us that Leaders Of The New School, Tribe and Missy Elliott killed it? Man, it must be close to Christmas.
Final note: Dat artwork, tho. *makes mental note to put on Low End Theory as soon as this is over*
What do you guys think of The Abstract & The Dragon?
