T.I. and Bun B disagree with Trinidad Jame$' New York comments

The King of the South has spoken and he doesn't support Trinidad Jame$' comments about New York. That's right. T.I. has broken his silence in regard to the ATL/South vs. New York beef.

Waka Flocka Flame recently took it upon himself to expand on Trinidad's rant and said the South runs all music, not just New York. But T.I. is looking at things through a different lens.

While speaking with ThisIs50.com, Tip said, "Trinidad is authorized to speak on Trinidad. And this is not a derogatory statement towards Trinidad, but he can't speak for me... I don't think it's adequate that he speak for the entire population of Atlanta. I just don't think that-with all due respect-I don't think he's come that far and walked that walk enough yet to where that will be accepted without ridicule."

Tip has made it clear that he doesn't need anyone speaking on behalf of him or his city.

Jame$ received a lot of backlash after his rant, particularly from New York emcees but it's looking like Waka may be his only Southern supporter.

Bun B also shed some light on the situation saying, "We can't be critical, too critical of situations because we have to keep everything in its proper perspective. Hip Hop started in New York, so if you're an emcee...you're already trying to be like New York, so it don't make sense for somebody to say New York tryin' to be like them. We're all students of the culture."
