Holiday cocktails from Riviera 31 in Hollywood: Drink like a star

Want to bring some serious star power to your next holiday party? What better way than to duplicate the signature drinks from LA's hottest club, Riviera 31. It's been frequented by Kelly Rowland, Carmen Electra, Brian Greenberg, Laura Prepon, Heather Graham and Jesse Metcalfe. Metcalfe recently celebrated his 33rd birthday there with his fiancée and friends.

What's made the lounge so unique is its creative approach to drinks and atmosphere within the Sofitel Los Angeles in West Hollywood. Misty Mansouri, head of Operations for Xperiment USA says:

"Nightlife is about always evolving and staying ahead of the curve...As long as I keep listening, thinking outside of the box and providing service and quality it will get better and better," she adds.

The below drinks are certainly outside-of-the-box "experiments" created by Chef Biancaniello. He crafts cocktails from farm-fresh organic foods, seasonal ingredients and odd pairings. If you aren't in Los Angeles, you can have a go at them yourself to serious wow your holiday party guests.

1. Thirty-One
"rocks"

Recipe:

2 oz Bulleit Rye
1 oz Punt Y Mes Sweet Vermouth
½ Cointreau
¼ Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
Pinch Of Salt

 Method: Build Over Ice 

2. Normandy Delight
"up"

 
Recipe:

1 oz Makers Mark
1 oz Daron Calvados
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice,
1oz Apple Juice,
¾ oz Seasonal Syrup

 Method: Pour all ingredients into a shaker and strain in a Martini Glass.
Top with seasonal syrup and apple foam

3. EDEN ROC
"rocks"


Recipe:

1.5oz Absolut Elyx
.5oz Martell VSOP (float)
1.5oz calvados
3/4oz apple juice

Method: In a shake muddle apple, red pepper, berries, cinnamon, nutmeg
