Fox Renews 'MasterChef Junior' for another season

Looks like FOX is in love with Gordon Ramsay, the network is wanting the chef-producer to return for another season.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Ramsay's hit show, MasterChef Junior has been renewed for season 2. The show, that has five series, will be added to the parent series, MasterChef, which was renewed for two seasons in May, Hell's Kitchen, Hotel Hell and Kitchen Nightmares also aired on the network.

The show produced high ratings when it premiered in September averaging 1.4 ratings among adults 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers, according to the site.

The show has improved 50 percent averaging 2.1 ratings in its key demo. The signed deal has Ramsay booked with FOX until 2015.

The parent series judge panelists includes Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot.

The announcement of the good news was made on Thursday, as Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly, commented:

"MasterChef Junior is one of the few shows on television that the entire family can truly enjoy together, and I can't wait to see what Gordon, Joe, Graham and the next round of rambunctious, ridiculously talented junior chefs cook up in season two."

Casting calls for MasterChef Junior will begin in New York and Chicago on Jan. 18 for the newest little competitors.
