Khloe Kardashian blamed for Lamar Odom bad parenting skills: Lamar is a much better parent after Khloe filed for divorce

Lamar Odom is now blaming his lack of parenting skills on his relationship with Khloe Kardashian. According to Hollywoodlife, the NBA athlete is trying to build his relationship with his two children, 15-year-old Destiny and 11-year-old Lamar Jr. after making claims that Khloe was the reason why he wasn't a great dad.

 "He blames her for monopolizing his time," the source admitted, "He put a lot of energy into that relationship and that Kardashian lifestyle and he lost track of his relationships with his family, especially [his father] Joe and his kids."

The source added, "He was so much more focused on Khloe and trying to start a family with her that he wasn't spending a lot of time with his own kids."

Since Khloe filed for divorce (December 13) sources claim that the athlete has become a much better parent, "He's been doing that for the last month and I've got to tell you he feels good about it," the source said of Lamar reconnecting with his father and kids. "He's trying to be a good father, a role model now that Khloes out of the picture. It's no longer all about her all the time."
