Chuck Norris gives Jean-Claude Van Damme a run for his money with his take on epic splits

Chuck Norris saw Jean-Claude Van Damme's "epic splits" between two giant moving trucks in the Volvo commercial, and he raised him. Well at least a digital creation of Norris did. It's unclear if he was actually involved in anyway with this parody of the Volvo ad, probably not, but it is still epic.

Hungarian creative agency Delov Digital created this spoof on Van Damme's viral sensation. It starts zoomed in on Norris' face, just like the Volvo ad. He's wearing plaid and a cowboy hat, of course. The inspiring strings arrangement in Enya's "Only Time" are expected and appreciated in the replicated Van Damme stunt.

But this time, Norris has Van Damme beat, because not only is he standing on the wings of two airplanes (much more difficult and literally impossible), he's also balancing a pyramid of men on his head.

It's a Christmas tree shaped pyramid of men on top of Chuck Norris' head as he stands on the wings of two airplanes. Yeah.

As his legs begin to split, we can see the full formation of the animated men illuminate with Christmas lights. The voice narrating the video recites a passage from Shakespeare's Hamlet and ends the video by saying, "Merry merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to you all."

The idea behind this video is hilarious, and if we have any luck, Van Damme will come back with something even better. Pretty sure no one would complain if the real Norris challenged Van Damme to an epic slits-off. We can dream.
