Manchester United vs West Ham United free online live stream [WATCH]: Saturday December 21, 2013 Barclays Premier League match preview
Manchester United has had a slow first year under new manager David Moyes, but the champions are coming back into form and the timing couldn't be better especially with today's matchup against West Ham United. Though the underdogs are close to the relegation zone in the Barclays Premier League, it wouldn't be wise to count out West Ham in this matchup.
Having home field advantage has always helped Manchester, so we should expect a great performance from some of the league's best players including Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney. But defeating Machester would surely help West Ham's standing as well as boost morale to a significant level.
Manchester manager had this to say to his team: "We have got a lot of competition in wide areas at Manchester United, and a lot of players we can select from. If you want to get regular outings you need to score and you need to play well."
With the change in coach and the uncertainty of a championship, the Manchester players are definitely looking to make an impression. That said, we should expect plenty of goal attempts in today's math against West Ham.
Meanwhile, star player Wayne Rooney is reportedly injured, but not seriously.
"It's a groin strain. He has got a chance, yes," Moyes explained.
The odds are in Manchester's favor but the Premier League has seen plenty of underdog stories so we cannot count West Ham out just yet.
