'SWV: Reunited' to debut on WE TV in 2014
If you like 90's R&B music, then you are going to love the reunion of the girl trio SWV. The former singing group received a deal with WE TV on March 11, 2013, and now the network has released a teaser for the upcoming reality series.
The series is starring Sisters With Voices, and it is a unscripted docu-drama, called SWV: Reunited. According to Always Alist, the show was produced by eOne Entertainment and will premiere on Wednesday Jan. 16, 2014 at 10pm on WE TV.
So for all you SWV fans out there get ready to see your favorite ladies singers, Cheryl "Coko" Clemons, Leanne "LeLee" Lyons, and Tamara "Taj" George. SWV: Reunited will take you back to the 90's as the girl group will try to come back together to regain their musical talent in the music industry.
After a 15-year break, the group will show the ups and downs and all the drama it will take to pull these women back to one.
If you are having a memory loss, Mstars will take you back and remind you what songs made this trio the hottest women before TLC. Some songs included, Weak, I'm So Into You, Right Here/Human Nature, featuring Michael Jackson, and Rain, plus many others.
Established in 1990 as a gospel group, the platinum-selling ladies broke up in 1997. Mstars guess there was some tension because that was the name of their album, Release Some Tension and a holiday album, A Special Christmas that year.
The trio made a comeback when they were nominated for a Grammy Award earlier this year, for the remake song of Patti LaBelle's, If Only You Knew, which was featured on the I Missed Us album, released in 2012.
