Man shot to death at Rich Homie Quan concert in Ohio
Everything was smooth sailing at Rich Homie Quan's recent concert in Ohio until shots rang out during his performance. Rich Homie wasn't hurt but one concert goer was fatally shot.
According to the Columbus Dispatch, a man was fatally shot at a concert in a downtown Columbus bar early Sunday (Dec. 22) morning.
The site reports:
"Jeremiah I. Frazier, 24, was at the Red Zone bar, 303 S. Front St., when he was shot about 2:30 a.m., Columbus police said. He was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:21 a.m."
Frazier's family, who lives near the bar, declined to speak to a reporter. Police didn't provide a motive or other details about the shooting.
Rich Homie Quan performed at the same bar last month and another man was shot. Freddie Johnson, Jr., 27, was shot twice in the back in the early hours of Nov. 10.
This incident comes weeks after six people were shot at separate Lil Scrappy and Meek Mill concerts.
On Dec. 7, four people were left with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds after a Meek Mill concert in Delaware. It is believed that there were multiple shooters in this incident.
Shots rang out at a Lil Scrappy concert on Dec. 6 as well.
One person was killed and another was injured in a shootout that occurred outside of a Lil Scrappy concert at Dan Foley Park in Vallejo, Calif.
Both victims were female. They were not believed to be the intended targets.
