Chick-fil-A not for 'Duck Dynasty' or a 'Chick-Phil-A-Day'
The only thing these two have in common is killing poultry. Chick-fil-A is 100 percent not involved with the idea of a Phil Robertson branding campaign, which would be called Chick-Phil-A.
TMZ reports that the campaign is picking up fast on social media and promoting chicken lovers to eat at Chick-fil-A restaurants on January 21st while wearing Duck Commander or camouflage gear to show their support for the Duck Dynasty star.
On Facebook a page is made for the campaign saying, "Stand for free speech. Sit for good food." There are more than 40,000 people already signed up and committed to participate.
Chick-fil-A who is a Christian based restaurant says, the event "is in no way sponsored by or affiliated with Chick-fil-A."
Chick-fil-A says Chick-Phil-A was created by an "independent group." The unknown group has not come forth to take credit for their campaign.
