The wait is over! Drake has finally released the highly anticipated track "Trophies."

Drake teased fans by featuring the track on the trailer for his latest album Nothing Was The Same and well over three months later we finally get to hear the full product.

Drake hinted to fans that the track would be released today (Dec. 29) in a series of tweets. Drizzy also explained why the track wasn't featured on Nothing Was The Same siting dissatisfaction with the hook.

Nonetheless, we're sure Drake fans can always appreciate new music.

Yesterday (Dec. 28) Drizzy released a track called "We Made It" featuring Soulja Boy.

With all the hype behind the Hit-Boy-produced "Trophies," no one saw "We Made It" coming but fans seem to love it. The track is definitely, what Drake called it, a "New Year's Eve Anthem."

We wonder what Drizzy has in store next and when we should expect it. The YMCMB rapper announced in November that he wanted to release up to five new tracks before the year's end.

According to some producers who have worked with Drizzy, he has plenty of music he can release.

Producer Nineteen85, who co-produced "Hold On, We're Going Home" and "Too Much" had this to say:

"Drake probably has almost an album's worth of stuff recorded that he could put out at any time. Songs that basically are ready to go. And I'm not talking about throwaway records. I'm talking about finished songs that most artists would beg to have."

Sounds like someone's been holding out.
