Monday Night Raw Preview 12/30/13: John Cena and Randy Orton not appearing, but Brock Lesnar returning?

The final episode of Monday Night Raw for 2013 airs tonight, Dec. 30, and will emanate live from Richmond, Va. A few major stars will not be present during the show, but a huge name could be coming back if certain reports are true.

WWE is also putting on a Live Event in Toronto on Monday night at the same time as Raw. Both WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and John Cena are advertised to appear at the Live Event, which means they will not be present on Raw. Other names scheduled to appear at the house show include the WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust, Big Show, Kane, Antonio Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio and Sin Cara.

The aforementioned stars will be absent tonight, but Brock Lesnar will reportedly make his return to WWE television during Monday's broadcast. WWE taped this week's edition of Friday Night Smackdown on Sunday night, and Wrestlezone.com reports that Big E. Langston cut a backstage promo during an interview with Renee Young in which he mentioned that Lesnar attacked Mark Henry on Raw. If true, this would indicate that Lesnar would reappear on WWE television tonight for the first time since SummerSlam back in August.

Langston was also holding the Intercontinental Championship during this pre-taped segment, which would indicate that he retains his title against Fandango tonight on Raw.

As always, check back with MStars immediately after the show for a full recap of all the action, which kicks off at 8 p.m. Eastern on the USA network.
